#Don't Flip the Bird, Flip Land for Profits business operations are based on the principle set in the company's policy. Our team members must understand but adhere to the conduct outlined in the policy. Our ethical behaviors give guidance to our daily operations. Any intentional conduct operated outside our policy will be carefully reviewed by the #Ethical Committee, and appropriate action will be taken accordingly. According to Dashnaw (2020), office romance can have unintended consequences and create ethical challenges. For this article, Flip Land for Profits prohibits office romance and discrimination between co-workers to prevent potential legal issues. Consensual or sexual relationships between colleagues, co-workers, or senior members of the organization will not be tolerated. A breakup can lead to poor performance, increased absenteeism, workplace drama, and a hostile work environment when the relationship doesn't work out. In addition, such misconduct could lead to sexual harassment lawsuits that could cost the company time and money or result in termination of employment.
The second ethical challenge is discrimination in the workplace is zero tolerance. Flip Land for Profits is an own family business, and it's a discrimination-free workplace. In addition, we #support workplace diversity; regardless of our age, ethnicity, religion, or cultural background, our employees have unique talent and skill set to be successful in the real estate business. Under any circumstances, we will not support or endorse discrimination as outlined in our company's policy. For accountability, our team members must attend in person or complete online a 60-minute ethical training class as part of their employment review on a quarterly basis. We are blessed to have and work with a group of professionals who understands and uphold their ethical standards at the highest level. Although flip Land for Profits is a small family own company, our team of professionals understands the company's policy and its unintended consequences.
